Privacy Policy

Black Belt Investors runs this website to publish real estate education and to let you get in touch with us. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. This page was last updated on 28 August 2026.

What we collect, and when

You do not need an account to use this site, and we collect nothing about you personally unless you choose to send it. There are three places where you can:

  • The newsletter form, in the footer of every page. Your email address.
  • The Get in Touch form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, time zone, preferred contact time, your message, and whether you ticked the newsletter box.
  • The free strategy session form on the Start Here page. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, time zone, the type of session you want, your message, and your consent choices.

Our web host also keeps ordinary server logs, which record your IP address, browser and the pages you requested. Those exist to run and secure the site.

Where it goes

  • Every submission is stored in this website’s own database so we can read it and reply.
  • Submissions are emailed to us, and passed to Keap (formerly Infusionsoft), the customer relationship system we use to follow up. Keap processes that data on our behalf under its own terms.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

Cookies and similar storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. WordPress may set one if you log in as an administrator. Your light or dark theme choice is remembered in your own browser and is never sent to us.

Some pages embed content from other companies, which can set their own cookies once that content loads: Google Maps on the Get in Touch page, and YouTube wherever videos appear. Those embeds are governed by Google’s privacy policy rather than this one.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and session requests for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have a record of what was discussed. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept briefly, on a rolling basis.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link at the bottom of it.
  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it. We will, unless we are required to keep it.
  • Depending on where you live you may have further rights, for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We apply the rights above to everyone regardless of where they are.

To make any of these requests, use the Get in Touch page and tell us what you would like us to do.

Children

This site is intended for adults making their own financial decisions. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
